judy blume only wishes
Dear God,
Are you there, God? It's me, Middle School. Every day the students come and spend seven hours focused on anything but learning. They judge each other, whispering behind folded hands and pointing when they think I don't see. Giggles slip out when someone leaves a room and hearts break in the hallway. Everything is a Big Deal. Are you there, God? Do you notice when they cry and laugh and blame and lie? I hope you're there. They need you.
Amen
Love Lindsay
